JJ’s Bar & Grill
JJ’s is the official after-race venue for guests of the Moët & Chandon Marquee.
This glamorous jewel in the Crown Tower, with its glimmering art-deco bar and lounge, exudes elegance. You’re likely to be clinking glasses with some of the country’s top trainers, jockeys, owners and socialites who go there to celebrate – or commiserate! – after the races.
The modern menu incorporates an Italian touch, and JJ’s is famous for its steaks, as well as a stunning array of seafood, all there to soak up the champagne. During the Melbourne Cup season, JJ’s also functions as a champagne-and-oyster bar.

After Midnight
It’s late, you’re hungry but not ready to go home. Michael Harden suggests where night owls should go for supper.
(Excerpt)
Crown has several late-night eateries, some of which are open 24 hours, but for star spottings, a good place to go is JJ’s Bar and Grill. With its impressive oval chandelier illuminated bar and shelves of Grange, JJ’s is serious about supper. Tasting plates and bruschetta are good for snacks, but the menu also lists fish, pasta, meat and Asian dishes. Secure a table on an awards night held in the complex and your likely to see some familiar faces coming in for more champagne or early-hours nourishment.
